An Introspective Descent: The Spire of Malign Splendours

Starting from the very first step, The Spire of Malign Splendours demands both determination and sacrifice from its audience. Its entrance is formed by a narrow, precarious ledge that juts out over an endless, dark abyss. One step forward, and the inverted spire's mind-bending architecture unfolds around its visitor, as they fall steadily into its haunting depths.

Once inside the shadowy hallways, visitors will encounter numerous pallid portraits, each residing in chambers curated with care and intent. Many remain hidden, cloaked behind heavy black shrouds, awaiting their moment of unveiling. Even with access limited to the revealed works, visitors are invited to uncover layers of meaning and connection within these dim corridors.

Take heed as you venture further down the stairways to the lower levels. Though no physical harm will come to you, ever darker visages and more unsettling sights await as you descend deeper within the Spire. Some may find resonance and catharsis in these depths; others may experience unease and distress of the mind.

And thus, we invite you to delve deeper, to explore, to feel, and to reflect upon what lies beneath.

About the Exhibit

This collection showcases artworks created through a melding of artificial intelligence and human vision. The process begins with prompts carefully written and fed into an AI image generator. From the resulting outputs, numerous variations are refined and adjusted, leading to the selection of the image that best reflects the intended concept. In most cases, these images are then expanded upon through the addition of digital layers and editing.

Each completed piece is accompanied by a poem or text, offering insight into the intended symbolism and underlying themes. Visitors may already be familiar with the precursor to this exhibit, known by its standalone name: Malum Art.
