Tome
The Memento born from this early invitation has taken the shape of a book. Though short compared to those that followed, it bore the foundation that allowed them to grow.
The tome and its artwork represent imagination–holding on to our inner world and letting it guide us throughout our lives.
To stand strong and guard this inner wealth–even when the world around us tries to bind or diminish it.
To allow ourselves rest, calm, and contentment in our busy and chaotic lives–permeating us, that this inner richness may flourish, and clarity of mind may thrive.
Partially bored, your mind is trying hard to focus on the book in your hands—yet you find yourself slowly lulled to sleep, head in the clouds, daydreaming. So much so that it takes you what seems like an age to notice that with each page turned, less and less words are printed on the paper before you.
Until there is more empty space than words.
“Open”… “The”… “Envelope”.
Confused, you turn the final page and find a sealed letter taped to the inside of the back cover—on it, only your name.
